Collection: Gaiwans
A Gaiwan (盖碗) is a classic Chinese tea vessel made up of just three parts: a bowl (碗, wǎn) to hold the leaves and water, a lid (盖, gài) to strain and control the pour, and your Gongfu (skills) to do the work. Perfect for Gongfu brewing, as it gives you precise control over steeping time.
Compared to a teapot, it pours way faster, which is clutch when you’re dealing with sensitive green teas that can become bitter from just an extra second of steeping.
It’s easy to clean, simple to use, and honestly, kinda impressive when you can flex that you no longer burn your hands from holding a Gaiwan wrong.
